Loch Ma-Ruibh is big. So big one of it’s islands has a loch in it. That loch also has an island.
Knowing that, I had to visit.
Looking across the loch, I could see a rainbow. Isn’t there gold to be found?
Eilean Sùbhainn is the biggest island and easily reached by hopping across several small islands – less than 400m swimming all in.
I did not have long to explore so simply swam in the loch in the island before heading home – a nice 500m swim to shore.
The moody skies, the choppy waters, the incredibly beautiful islands – i had found the gold at the end of the rainbow. Detroit, I shall return.
